I won't name names without getting permission first, but one household announced its intentions to buy a home yesterday, and two more households have asked to become members today. I know of two more households who are visiting banks and having realtors appraise the properties they need to sell this week: that's five homes spoken for this week by serious and committed people.
In the wings are another dozen asking serious and smart questions, and another fifty who are thinking it through.
Seven homes are already lived in or being built by people living on site.
We're getting awfully close to our total of twenty-six homes! Wouldn't it be great if all twenty-six households were there for the common house workshop on April 10 & 11?

ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I first saw you in 2006 when we were pregnant with number two... Number three is here and we're planning to come (from Edmonton) in June for a look around and to see if we might fit with Y.E.S. and your vision. I'm reading through your blog, and I'm wondering if we should try for a flight without the kids for April 10-11 instead. What do you think?
Our June trip is with the kids (YIKES) by car (DOUBLE YIKES) but the more we read, the more excited we get. If we came in April it would be just us and the 2 month old, but then we aren't sure if we're missing some steps between here and a workshop.
