These owls are living in the silo at the ecovillage, Dick Clegg brought the \owl house\ down so we could view them. You just never know who is or will be living at the Ecovillage!!!
Last summer, Dick Clegg, a local vet, put a nesting box for Barn Owls high in our old concrete silo. These babies are two of the four who were born this spring. In the evening when the light is fading, we see the parents bringing fistfuls of rodents from our back pasture to keep them growing and thriving.
