We're building fast- available homes popping up all over!
Our next phase of construction is filling up fast. Not to worry... there's another whole building with more units, following close behind! We have two bedroom flats in the low $200,000's and family homes with affordable, family-sized prices. Scroll down the blog to look for pictures and descriptions.
And because we know you might want a transition landing-place while you decide you fit here, or while you watch your home being finished, we have a few rentals, too. There are single units, modest family accommodation and a spiffy eco-featured 3-bedroom half-duplex.
We're happy to give you a look-see, with no obligation at all... come for a tour.
The next ones are Friday 29th at 10 am and Saturday May 7th at 11am RSVP t o welcome@yarrowecovillage.ca

Looking forward to eating outside again soon!
This is a picture from last year. Give us a little sunshine and a couple of weekends, and we'll have a bunch of new pictures from this year!
Last night's community dinner was delicious: thank you to Linda and Jamie for barbequed skewers. Yum! You know we're craving spring when we happily shiver in warm jackets just to say we had a barbeque outside.

Mark your calendars, Ready, Set , Come!!
Open House- Victoria Day – Monday, May 23rd
We’re welcoming Interested folks, newcomers, old-timers, neighbours, friends and lookey-loos to tour homes and farms. We’ll have displays of our plans to show and we’ll answer questions. You can poke around .... why not go down to the creek to see the latest plantings that are restoring natural beauty?
This gathering of people will give you a chance to feel our collective energy. Together, we rock! The village is no longer pie-in-the-sky; it was never pie-in-the-face ... it’s ‘I Fly for Pie’ ... a delicious slice on a plate, perfectly warm and ready to eat! I Fly for Pie is a cafĂ© at the Chilliwack airport and serves the best pie in the world. Last week, I had rhubarb and raspberry. But I digress.
Welcome Weekend Camping
—August Long Weekend July 30, 31 and August 1st.
Bring your tent, sleeping bags, kids and geeeeetar. Whooo-hooo! This time, you’ll be able to relax with us and feel what a more ordinary everyday life is like in our village. We’ll have the summer kitchen up and running for shared meals and cooking. It’s covered and out of too much rain or sun. Some of us residents will be out in tents too, so if you fancy a real bed, there’ll likely be a spare one for you in a house. And we’ll be rustling up some entertainment and fun for both adults and kids. There’s been a lot of interest in buying homes, so ... wouldn’t it be a fun exercise to put stakes out where the new buildings will be ... and perhaps one of those homes will be yours?
